This week i begin planning for my new layout. As this will be my first serious attempt there will be a great deal of planning going into it.
I am currently looking at Hemmant train station on the QR Cleveland line as a theme. I cannot find any good photos, so i will be taking some in the future. The train station itself is fairly run down, but what makes it interesting is the ability to see trains coming from several kilometers away.
The only issue here is that would mean paying the exorbitant costs for a H0n Layout, and dealing with the companies that deal specifically with Queensland layouts.
My other idea is a Newcastle layout, probably very period built with an age of steam map for newcastle and its ports.
